THE MAISON
The Lacloche house is one of the glories of Parisian jewellery. Founded in 1892 with modest beginnings, Lacloche opened their
first premises at the prestigious address on Paris’ rue de la Paix in 1901, alongside eminent counterparts such as Cartier and Van Cleef
& Arpels. The brand experienced meteoric rise, becoming synonymous with some of the greatest high jewellery made in the 20th century.
EXHIBITIONS AND PUBLICATIONS
This retrospective brings together an exceptional collection of Lacloche high jewelry, timepieces, accessories and objets d'art from around the world. Organized by L’ÉCOLE School of Jewelry Arts supported by Van Cleef & Arpels, it traces the fascinating history of this Parisian Maison and its exquisite and poetic jewellery. The exhibition is accompanied by a dedicated monograph consolidating two years of extensive research.
Premiered in Paris and followed by an expanded exhibition in Hong Kong, the retrospective illustrates the Maison’s technical prowess and
impeccable taste, whose luster shines as bright today as it did in the past.
